Day 01 : ARRIVE DELHI/KOLKATA
Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 02: ARRIVE GUWAHATI
Drive from Guwahati to Shillong -120 kms/3 hours. Check
into Hotel. Evening take a stroll around Police Bazaar,
where the wares on sale range from electronics to
traditional handicraft, modern clothing to handloom items,
vegetables and traditional spices etc. Time permitting
visit the exciting traditional archery ground where the
locals bet huge amounts of money every day. Overnight.
DAY 03: SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJEE
Drive from Shillong to Cherrapunjee - 56 km/ 2 hours.
Visit Elephant falls, Shillong peak - far a panoramic view
of the hill station, Ward's Lake. After lunch, drive to
Cherrapunjee (56 km), the place famous for receiving
world's highest amount of rainfall. Check into Resort.
Overnight.
DAY 04: CHERRAPUNJEE - GUWAHATI
Drive from Cherrapunjee to Guwahati - 176 km/ 5 hours. On
the way visit Limestone Caves. Check into Hotel on
arrival. Afternoon, visit 'Kalakshetra', a cultural centre
where Assamese history and ethnic culture is depicted.
From here proceed to the mighty river Brahmaputra for a
one hour river cruise. Return to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 05:
Transfer to Guwahati Airport to board outgoing flight.
