Day 1: Delhi - Naukuchiyatal
Start the drive from Delhi early in the morning. Drive to
Naukuchiyatal; one of the lakes close to Nainital. Night
stay in hotel Lake Resort.
Day 2: Naukuchiyatal - Sonapani - 45 kms/2 hrs
Drive to Himalayan village in Sonapani 14 kms before
Mukteshwar. The location is most picturesque and the
resort offers a host of activities to choose from.
Day 3: Sonapani - Mukteshwar - Sonapani
Full day sightseeing of the region/ Hike to Mukteshwar and
drive back. Night stay in Resort.
Day 4: Sonapani - Binsar - 3 hrs
Drive to Binsar after a leisurely breakfast. Night stay in
Khali Estate.
Day 5: Binsar
Enjoy the splendour of Binsar. Visit the Zero point of
Binsar early in the morning. After breakfast we hike for 4
kms to a village where we have a typical Kumaoni lunch.
Hike back to Estate. Evening at leisure.
Day 6: Binsar - Ranikhet - 83 kms/4 hrs
Drive to Ranikhet after a leisurely breakfast. Check into
Chevron hotel/ Holm farm. Ranikhet is one of the most
sought after hill destinations in India and yet does not
have the commercial chaos of hill stations like Nainital.
Day 7: Ranikhet - Sitlakhet - Ranikhet
Visit Sitlakhet and hike up to Syahi Devi temple. Drive
back to Ranikhet in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
Day 8: Ranikhet
Visit one of the smallest cantonment namely, Chaubatia
Gardens in India. Hike to orchards in Chaubatia with a
packed lunch. You could also drive up to Chaubatia.
Evening at leisure in Ranikhet.
Day 9: Ranikhet - Delhi - 355 kms/9-10 hrs
Drive back to Delhi.

Day 9: Ranikhet - Chopta (2700M) - 180 KMS/8

Today we move from the Kumaon Himalayas to Garhwal
Himalayas. Drive via Karnprayag to Nandprayag to Chopta.
Night stay in tents.
Day 10: Chopta – Deoriatal (2438M) - Chopta - Drive - 15 kms/1 hrs and trek - 12 kms/5hrs
Drive to sari village and then trek to Deoriatal situated
at a height of 2438 mts. above sea level. This lake has
captivating surroundings with forest all around. The
reflection of Chaukhamba Peak in the lake creates a most
beautiful effect.
Day 11: Chopta – Chandrashila (4090M) - Chopta- drive - 41 kms/2 hrs - trek – 14 kms/6 hrs
Drive to the starting point of trek. Hike for 5 kms to
Tungnath temple through some of the finest and most
picturesque pockets of the Himalayas. Tungnath at 3790M is
the place where the arm of Shiva appeared. Another two kms
trek takes you to Chandrashila. The summit affords the
most beautiful view of the Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Peak
and Chaukhamba peaks.
Day 12: Chopta - Haridwar - Delhi - 210 kms/9-10 hrs
drive - 203 kms by train
Drive from Chopta to Haridwar and board the Mussoorie
express departing from Haridwar late in the evening.
