Things to see & do

Forest Hikes

Misty Mountains is set in an estate encompassing 1000 acres of virgin forest; one can spend weeks exploring it! There are many walks within the estate from easy walks to brow-sweating hikes.

In fair weather, we organize a beautiful Sunset Walk with High Tea in the forest.

For the more adventurous, we can organize a night-forest-walk: a unique, only @misty experience.

Excursions

Reetha Waterfall – an alluring spot with a small waterfall that entails a drive of about 1 ½ hrs and half an hour’s walk.

Patal Bhuvaneshwar – an hours’ drive will bring you to this ancient and fascinating limestone cave temple of Lord Shiva and numerous demigods. It is quite an experience as you need to climb down into a cave that is 300 ft below and is a must-see.

Baans Pathan – an enchanting rivulet that is about an hour's distance from Misty Mountains. There is cool, refreshing knee deep water that you can splash around in. Even kids can enjoy the place and it is safe for them with just enough water to have fun. It is also a good birding place for water birds.
